Random Snippets 1
I went to Northern California last week (Oct. 26-29) and stayed with my relatives in Roseville, somewhere near Sacramento. I also went with them to San Francisco on Thursday night and got a chance to see the Golden Gate Bridge and the Fisherman's wharf on Friday morning. We went back to Roseville that afternoon.
I rode a plane to and from Sacramento where each ride took about one hour and a quarter. It was my first time to ride an airplane by myself and within the US. One can get to San Francisco from Roseville by just a couple of hours drive, which we did.

In Roseville, I got to play basketball again for a loooooooong time and so I was out of breath after about 4 shot attempts. Good thing my opponent in that one-on-one basketball hadn't played for a long while too, I think - plus he's way heavier than me. (hear this, Mark..). His stamina was better than mine, though. (pambawi...).

One Monday night, in my C++ programming class, a student gave a wrong answer to my professor's question. My professor, who is nicknamed Prof. Krazy, shouted "AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" so loud that a student from the adjacent classroom came by and closed the door of our classroom.
Prof. Krazy is really good. If I'm not mistaken, he sat in the committee of ANSI C. ANSI C is the version of the C programming language established through the initiative of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). I think he was also a consultant to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).

One Tuesday, I tried one of the vending machines in UCLA. Amongst the products available there are Philippine-made dried mangoes. Pinoy pride!
Now my personal choices for snack are a pack of Cheetos, a Snickers bar, or a pack of dried mangoes. I thought of making a schedule for them but I realized it would just be useless because I'd rather follow my craving, which varies from time to time.
